Freddy Kempf Recital

Date: 02 December 2021

Location: Warwick Arts Centre Gibbet Hill Road, Coventry, CV4 7AL

Time: 19:30 - 21:30

Cost: £18.50

Freddy Kempf is one of today’s most successful pianists performing to sell-out audiences all over the world.

Exceptionally gifted with an unusually broad repertoire, he's built a unique reputation as an explosive and physical performer, who is not afraid to take risks, as well as a serious, sensitive and profoundly musical artist.

An always hugely popular artist with Warwick Arts Centre audiences, this very special recital sees Freddy open with the 12th Prelude and Fuge in F minor from Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier Book II - acknowledged as one of the most significant achievements of the Baroque period.

Delving into the works of Chopin, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven, Freddy concludes the programme with Op. 9, Papillons from Robert Schumann's impassioned Carnaval.

Not to be missed.

Note: This very special solo Recital replaces Freddy's previously announced appearance with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, who have unfortunately postponed their touring commitments.
