Coventry Police Museum was founded in 1957 by the then chief constable Edward Pendleton; the museum illustrates some of Coventry’s more gruesome past.

All exhibits and historical facts have a Coventry link. Included in the museum is Mary Ball's ‘death mask’, the last woman to be hung in Coventry in 1849.
